Notion does Severance

because your innie deserves better tools

Hey — it’s James

It's already week 26 of 2025—which means we've hit the halfway point of the year. Wasn’t New Year’s Eve just yesterday?

If you had set goals, intentions, or resolutions back in January, now’s a good time to check in. Are they still relevant? Are they still exciting? I don’t really do New Year’s resolutions anymore, but when I used to, I noticed something:

3 Tips / Updates

1/ New CSV Importer

Notion has a new CSV Importer! What's changed?

  1. You can now select the property type before importing

  2. You can now visualize your database before import

To access the CSV Importer, go to SettingsImportCSV

2/ Mobile Database Layout

Notion databases have evolved a lot, especially with all their recent UI updates. They haven't forgotten mobile — they got a little facelift too!

  • Layout is cleaner

  • Filtering is now all in one menu

  • Size of the tap targets for header actions, view tab, and new page buttons has been increased

3/ Severance-inspired website

This is the kind of marketing that really resonates with me. Notion brilliantly reimagined their website with an immersive Severance-inspired theme

Tagline

Projects feature

Whether you’re tracking your department’s progress or planning the next waffle party, stay organized.

or a testimonial?
