The Final Step to Full Notion Automation
yup—webhooks have finally arrived to Notion
Hey — it’s Rames
Let’s skip the fluff and dive straight in.
The more someone is like me, the less likely I am to like them. But if they’re half like me and half completely different? There’s a good chance we’ll get along.
Liking someone isn’t black and white—it’s a spectrum. Actually, I see it as a bell curve.
Here’s how I think it works: … [continue reading]

3 Tips
1/ WEBHOOOOOOOOOKS
Yes, I’m that excited about this. And if you’re into automation, you should be too! Webhooks let apps send real-time updates or notifications to a specific URL whenever something happens. Think of it as instant messaging—but for your data.
Here’s the game changer:
Before: Automations ran on a schedule (every hour, for example). Updates could lag for up to 59 minutes.
Now: Automations trigger instantly when an event occurs.
Notion just added webhooks to database automations and buttons, making it easier than ever to create real-time workflows.
For example, imagine syncing Spotify with Notion to show what you’re playing live. Sounds cool? Check this out:

2/ Button Update
Notion buttons just got a glow-up! In addition to supporting webhooks, they can now send emails and trigger (person) notifications.
If you’re geeking out right now, I get it. This is next-level automation!
3/ Recurring Availability on Calendar
It’s been a while since we’ve seen updates to Notion Calendar, but they just dropped something big: recurring availability. Think Calendly, but baked right into your Notion setup.
This makes scheduling smoother than ever, especially if you live by your calendar.
Say hello to recurring availability 🔄
