3 Tips / Updates

1/ OFF.LINE.MODE

How many comments under Notion's tweets have I seen saying "wHen ofFLine moDe"? How many articles whose headline was "I switched from Notion to Obsidian bcs no offline mode"? How many people have I seen try to come up with alternatives, and build tools to solve the problem?

Ladies & Gentlemen, the day has come! Notion's N°1 most asked feature EVER, since its official launch in 2016, please let me introduce: OFFLINE (FR**KING) MODE!

How to use Notion offline ?

  • How to use offline mode: Open any page, tap the ••• menu in the top-right corner, turn on Available offline to download the page. Changes made offline will sync automatically when you reconnect to the internet.

  • Offline management: You can view and manage offline pages in the Offline in Settings, where you can see all downloaded pages and remove them from offline access if needed.

  • Offline availability for all users: All Notion users can view, edit, and create pages offline on both desktop and mobile apps. Plus, Business, and Enterprise plans also get automatic downloads of recent and favorited pages.

Remember, this is just v1 of the feature. More updates are yet to come. See you offline!

2/ Notion Mail on iOS

Another very important update, this time on Notion Mail: the iOS app is finally out! You can now use Notion Mail with all its features on your phone.

I think they really did a great job, and it has already replaced my Gmail app.

3/ React to selected text

To cap off these two big announcements, here's a small but useful new feature: you can now react to selected text directly within Notion's editor ↓
