A WORD FROM OUR SPONSOR
The best marketing ideas come from marketers who live it.
That’s what this newsletter delivers.
The Marketing Millennials is a look inside what’s working right now for other marketers. No theory. No fluff. Just real insights and ideas you can actually use—from marketers who’ve been there, done that, and are sharing the playbook.
Every newsletter is written by Daniel Murray, a marketer obsessed with what goes into great marketing. Expect fresh takes, hot topics, and the kind of stuff you’ll want to steal for your next campaign.
Because marketing shouldn’t feel like guesswork. And you shouldn’t have to dig for the good stuff.

3 Tips / Updates
1/ Group mentions
If you’re using Notion for collaborative work, chances are you already needed this feature. There’s a person property, and you want to tag the entire Finance team, so you mention Emilio, Sophia, David, Emma, etc.
What’s changed? Now simply mention @Finance and get everyone notified at once 😎

2/ Notion in… Notion Calendar
Notion Calendar now has a cool list panel that lets your databases and calendars hang out together! You can access any Notion database with dates right in your calendar view, and just drag and drop stuff onto your schedule.

If your database is already connected to Notion Calendar, simply click it in the left sidebar to open your Notion views. From there, happy organizing!
3/ Claude connector
Notion announced a new workflow with Claude: brainstorm, draft, or think out loud in Claude — then send the results straight into Notion. Instead of copy-pasting between tools, you can move ideas, outlines, or conversations directly into your workspace. It’s a smoother bridge between free-flowing thinking and structured documentation.
Notion 🤝 Claude
Talk it out in Claude. Capture it in Notion.

2 Resources
1/ Flylighter — Save Everything to Notion
Flylighter is an ultra-fast, flexible web clipper that goes way beyond the basics. You can:
Capture full articles, highlights, links—and retain formatting (tables, headings, etc.).
Automate property-filling in Notion (tags, dates, relations).
Use “Flows” to direct clips into specific pages or databases.
Capture highlights via context menu or keyboard shortcuts, with optional appending to previous captures.
It’s built by Notion power-users (like Thomas Frank and Eli Wimmer) and includes Instant Capture mode for lightning-fast clipping—even plans a mobile app in the future.
2/ Hello, I’m Notion Agent 🤖
A cool breakdown of how Notion is using MCP (Model Context Protocol) under the hood, with some neat peeks at their dev approach.
TL;DR
Notion recognizes that powerful AI agents still cannot perform without tool integrations.
To fix that, they’ve launched a hosted MCP server, which acts as the tool-access layer for agents.
With this in place, agents such as Cursor and Claude can now interact directly with Notion, boosting productivity by blending generative AI with in-app execution.

Notion AI Formula Writer is AMAAZZZINGGG... Thanks @NotionHQ@akothari We maintain OKRs in Notion and in the past viewing aggregate status (e.g. summarizing child OKRs) was hard as formulas were long and cumbersome and so no one did it. Now - just gotta ask AI!
