+ Calendar roadmap for 2025

Hey — it’s Rames

In 2021, I started tracking my sleep. I didn’t have the budget for a fancy Oura ring or smartwatch, so I opted for a free app called SleepCycle. The setup was simple: I had to sleep with my phone next to me, letting its built-in accelerometer monitor my sleep patterns and movements.

Here’s what I learned from 2 years of dedicated sleep-tracking:

3 Tips / Updates

1/ Notion Mail Preview

If you still haven't gotten access to Notion Mail—the team building the product has released a short video going through the interface and some of the main features such as auto-labeling, Notion Calendar integration, and availability scheduling.

I'm still on the waitlist too (I missed the opportunity), so I was very happy to see more of it in action 💌

2/ Notion Calendar Roadmap

Speaking of the Notion Suite, the Calendar team has shared their plans for 2025. The highlight is AI-generated meeting notes that will be automatically nested and synced within Notion pages linked to calendar events. This feature sounds especially promising for teams and freelancers.

3/ Native time-tracking

Love this setup from Thomas Frank for tracking time and recording multiple sessions. It's an add-on to one of Thomas Frank's templates, but the tutorial will help you create your own from scratch.

TEMPLATES THAT JUST WORK

Organize & unclutter your life. 50%-off your next template with code 321SUB.

Templates include: Second Brain, Freelance Template, Startup OS, Workout Tracker, Student OS, Money Tracker & many more.

2 Resources

1/ Notion Tools

I added a new page to my website, Notion Tools, to showcase the best tools that integrate with Notion. You'll find web builders, automation apps, forms, help centers, and many other exciting tools to explore!

Some of these tools come with discount codes—feel free to use them :)

2/ Flylighter updates

A few updates on Flylighter—Thomas Frank’s web clipper for Notion. It can know capture complex web data such as HTML tables & Code blocks. Flylighter also remembers if the page has already been captured before, and lets you append new highlights to the same Notion page.

You can start using Flylighter right now by joining their Discord.
