Another Notion Feature Leak?
they must be doing it on purpose...
Hey — it’s Rames
These past few weeks, I’ve felt a bit all over the place. I’ve struggled to stick with decisions from one day to the next, which has left me feeling overwhelmed.
I was doing a lot—but looking back, I realize I wasn’t making progress on what truly matters. My time was spent being busy and pseudo-productive.

3 Tips
1/ There’s a New Block in Town
A few days ago, a Reddit user noticed that you could use the /turninto function to transform a block into a slide!

It’s no longer available — but we know from experience that these leaks always tend to verify. Nothing was communicated by the Notion team, but we should see Slides arrive to Notion in the near future.
Notion’s slowly stealing Google’s customers 🥷
2/ Headings visibility
Not the most passionate news, but still good to know, especially for writers. Headings in callouts now appear in table of contents.
Headings in toggles still don't appear in table of contents
Headings in quotes still don't appear in table of contents
Toggle headings do appear in table of contents
3/ Major Minor Update
Okay, it's really not much. Notion just added rounded corners to their database checkboxes.
BUUUUT...
Everybody freaking loved it! Truth is, Notion put a lot of work into soft design updates recently. A lot of corners have been rounded, and the general look feels super fresh.
Hell yeah, Brother!
2 Resources
1/ How To Customize Layout
Customize Layout has been live for a couple of weeks now. If you're still unsure how to use it, I've written an easy tutorial just for you. Here are the key takeaways:
Where to find the Customize Layout option across different places in Notion.
Learn how Notion organizes pages into headings, properties, relations, and panels to improve clarity.
Discover how to group similar properties and pin important ones for quick access.
Understand how the new panel allows selective visibility and property styling.
2/ True Recurring Tasks
Great video about how to leverage the new automations to create a proper recurring tasks system. The nice addition over using the classic "repeat" feature is that you can create new tasks based on whether the status has been set to Complete (for example).
1 Tweek: Tweet of the Week
Hey Notion bring back the camera block so I can video call myself and have a little accountability partner on every single page in my workspace.
